Can anybody tell me what mod was done to my new 2000S?

It has a 1/4" jack wired to a pot on the back. MAster volume or alternative input maybe???

Can't determine the function of the pot without knowing where the black coax cable goes.

Just undid that yellow twist tie and the black wire is connected to the that 0.1 uF 400v cap. the cap is not connected to anything else. wonder what it was for.

It looks like a preamp output for running a second amp as a slave. It is probably disconnected and non-functional. The pot on the back just controls the level at the jack but it seems there is no signal connected to the 0.1uF cap.
