my problem origionated when a circuit board screw came loose and shorted the amp out. for a while the only audible output was a loud
deep hum. i opened it up and noticed what had happened, noticing that the two 6amp fuses, were blown. i also noticed that they were 7amp fast acting fuses. i don't know if this is an issue. so today i put in new 6amp fuses and the one closest to the transformer blew. the portion of the circuit board where this fuse holder is attached is a little burned on the soder side of the board. the other connections in the area are...one side of a filter cap, white wire off transformer, then on the other side of the fuse connection is a resistor. this is the area in question, there is visible burning on both sides of the fuse holder connections. hmm any ideas.
i am going to go grab the scematic thanks.
