I got this one at a Pawn shop for $175. its in great shape, plays good and i've never had a single problem with it(except ripped cord). it is extremely Powerful i believe it tops at 150watts. It has a really nice 15'' force speaker and it sounds nicer (when playing bass) than my bass amp. i also have an Ibanez Rg and when you mix Ibanez with Sunn  8) you get a lot of power. Its extremely heavy. About how much is this tough guy worth?and also does anyone know what years they were made? It is an Alpha 115 c or e?mos technology 150watts max.

Hello:
 Alpha's were 60 watt amps made in the late 70's & early 80's. Kind of low power versions of the Beta's.

i guarantee there is a lot more than 60 watts under that hood. i have heard 60watt amps and this thing kills them
