SPECTRUM 1 VS SPECTRUM 2????????????

Is their a difference between the Spectrum 1 and Spectrum 2? A while ago I picked up a Specreum 1 and it seems like it is doubling the signal, part of it is clean and the other part is distorted. Also does anyone have a set of knobs for one of these? They are the ones with no numbers just an arrow. I have plenty to trade for them.
