our school used to do alot with guitar and bass a long time ago but now interest in bass and guitar has gone down and the school has shrunk and they're running out of space. They have all this old equipment they wanna get rid of. They also have a fender combo bass unit but i dont know exactly what it is.  They said I can have that too, but is it worth anything? I don't have alot of room in my house so i've had to pick and choose. The bassman is in storage. I'm giving them back the Sunn Coliseum 300 amp with cab they gave me cuz i have no room. I don't know what to do!

hey. I took the amp to a show today and it worked great! after i used the compressed air there was no more smoking. Everything is really crisp except the bottom of the cab tends to rattle a tiny bit. Not super noticeable, but still would this be because of a blown speaker or what? thanx, jordan

Could be a loose screw or speaker or something like that. Check and make sure all the screws and speaker screws are tight, although don't ream on them. Snug is fine! Go too tight on the speaker ones and you distort the shape of the speaker!

YA, GREG IS RIGHT..DON'T OVER TIGHTEN THE SPEAKER BOLTS..IT COULD BE TE CASTER WHEELS ON THE BOTTOM ALSO..IF IT SOUNDS LIKE A SPEAKER HAS FAD AWAY BUZZ...CHECK AND SEE IF THE TWO LITTLE SPEAKER WIRES THAT GO TO THE CONE,  AREN'T TOUCHING THE CONE ITSELF...IT'S THE WIRES COMING FROM THE TERMINALS ON THE SPEAKER FRAME,....THAT ARE GLUED INTO THE CONE ITSELF....CHECK THOSE OUT....IT DOUBT THE BACK PANEL IS BUZZING,  THAT'S A CRUSH FIT . YOU HAVE TO BLAST TO GET THOSE BACK PANELS OFF A SUNN CAB...TO WRAP IT UP....BE NICE TO THE SPEAKERS...BOB....
