Hello all,
I recently aquired a free Sunn Sentura 2. It is missing the power transformer and the tubes. Can anyone tell me what type of transformer I need and where to get it. Also what tubes does it take??

Thanks..........Wil.

Tubes:
12AX7 preamp
12AU7 reverb driver
6AN8 splitter
KT88 (2) power tubes. Later models used 6550's. They should be interchangeable, but I'd check the bias.
GZ34 rectifier

The power transformer is designated 3-6PT.

I got all of this from the schematic diagram on this site.

Wil;
You can buy the correct power transformer from Triode Electronics (check their website). It's made by Magnequest and was designed as a replacement for Dynaco Mark II/III amps (that were used in early Sunn "Smiley Face" tube heads and subsequent Sunn tube amps were designed after). Look for Magnequest model MQ-782. $129.00

Good Luck!
