the new fender 1200 is rack mountable
i beleive all of the reissue fender bass amps are rack mountable accept for the 300t which has  apair of gonads on it so large that no rack system is big enough to contain it

what about the PRE-Fender Sunn's? I am looking at getting an older model (beta bass, colliseum, or otherwise) to power an SVT 8x10 (4 ohm), along with a decent preamp. they seem a bit cheaper (in price) and readily available. seems like there must be some way to put some rack mounts ears on em, that is if they even fit standard racks.

not too many sunn amps would fit in a rack 19 inches wide

also if you are thinking of also using a "decent preamp" why screw around with just a Sunn power section??.....I guess you could get a Coliseum or Concert slave and sit on top of your rack ( I do that when I want to use my Trace Elliot V-type preamp) , but there are lots of 19 in rack solid state power amps out there that would probably be a better fit ....save your hack saw blades
I enjoy old Sunn stuff, tube and solid state, I have a Concert Bass, Concert slave, 1200s (4X6550, dual rectifier) Concert PA, Studio PA, and an old Acoustic 360 2X15 cab but with Sunn Speakers)

Hello:
There were Beta's that were rack mountable. I recall a Bass player at Sunn (Bill) that had a Beta bass and a SA300 in a rack. YOWSERS, that thing rocked the room.

I though most Sunn solidstate amps (Beta, Concert, Coliseum) just had kind of a casing which was easily seperable from the head??  I know the amps would probably fit in a rackmount casing because they're smaller than most amp heads anyway.
