no, don't do it unless you are absolutely sure the speakers are strong enough to deal with the immense power of the coli300, I have one myself and my 200 watt at 8 ohm ampeg cabinet (4x10) started to make that scratchy sound of an overloaded speaker when I played bass on the coli 300. the amp is rated 300 watts at 8 ohm, 200 watts at 4 ohm and 125 watts at 8 ohms, but that's about rms average ratings, its peaks are very high (up to 880 watts at 2 ohms!), apparently higher than the peak power of this ampeg 4x10 cab (200 watt rms, don't know the exact peak power). I did not have that problem with guitar, but bass has heavier peaks. my suggestion is that you first find out about peak power ratings of your cab, you need at least 220 watts peak power handling capacity per speaker, 880 watts all together, to make sure you don't blow your speakers at 2 ohm in the parallel-connection situation. I replaced those speakers for new strong eminence bass speakers, connected them in a parallel position (2 ohm in total) et voila, a 4x10 cab that can handle the full power of a coliseum 300! good luck, guy
