Help with Concert Lead footswitch!

Any body know how the footswitching (distortion or reverb) works on a Concert Lead?

It's got two RCA jacks labeled L and R, and I've hooked up a fender footswitch I have and got it to turn on and off, but I can't figure out exactly what's turning on and off.  Both switches seem to effect the distortion differently.

If you know ANYTHING or have any schematics, please respond!

Do a search on concert and footswitch on this site.  This question has been asked and answered several times, so there is other information out there.

The concert lead (older, 2 channel version) has the two sets of Stereo RCA jacks labeled L and R.  

I use a shorting plug in the left hand set ("L" jack) to keep the "Distort" on and control the amount with the front panel control.  

The "R" jack (of the  left hand set) is used to control the "boost" function.  Shorting this jack to ground will turn the boost off.  The amount of boost is also controlled by the setting of the "Distort" control.

The right hand set of jacks controls the reverb, and only one of the RCA jacks is actually connected to the circuit.  I can't remember which one.
