Question about the output transistors on a concert bass

Hi,

Im concidering buying a sunn concert bass, with output transistors missing.

Is this a bad idea? My question is if these are fairly easy to find and put in again. Not the originals, but something similar. And will this alter the tone much?

Any help appreciated!

they're 2n3055, the most common output transistor on the planet
