Please save my Beta Lead

Hello,
I've got a beta lead 2X12 combo that died. It turns on, but buzzes and the blows one of two fuses that are located on the poweramp circuit board. This all started after plugging an Ibanez chorus flanger in to the amp. Does anybody know what's wrong or is there anybody out there who could fix it for me?? PLEASE help!!

Sounds as though you need an electronics technician.

Blown fuses are usually power supply problems. Power transformer, rectifier, capacitors.

 It could also be a bad power transistor or the protection diodes tied between the power supply and the output.

Yeah, could be a lot of things, which is why he needs a competent tech. I could do it, but I'm in a small town in Oregon.

Same here... in Southern Oregon. Where are you in the state?

Corvallis, though I grew up in Medford.

I thought all the towns in Oregon were small.

Depends on your criteria, I suppose. Portland has nearly half a million people, and the metropolitan area over one million. That's big enough for most folks. It also has more restaurants, microbreweries and strip joints per capita than any other major metropolitan area in the country. Make of that what you will!

On the other hand, Corvallis has about 50K. That's pretty big by some people's standards, but it's missing a lot of things a city needs, IMO.
