running 2 tube amps together

Can I run an early 70's Model T (4x6550) with a lower wattage tube head (Red Bear MK120 with 4x6l6 tubes)? Each head will be running their own cabs, of course. Do I have to get one of those A/B/Y pedals or can I hook the two heads together without messing something up. I want to use the Model T as the main head. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what it is you want to do. If each amp has its own cabinet, all you need to do is plug into the T, then run a cord from one of the OUT jacks to the other amp. Now you're plugged into both amps.

On the other hand, if you want to be able to switch between the two, that's different.

Should I use the Line Out on the back or one of the Outs on the front of the T?

Again, it depends on what you want to do. If you use the OUT on the front panel, it will be pretty much like plugging your guitar directly into the second amp. If you use the line out on the back, you'll have a hotter signal, which should easily overdrive the input stage of the second amp. The Model T's tone controls and the distortion generated in the T will all be present at the input of the second amp, so, if that's what you want, do it that way. Why not just try it both ways, and see which works better for you?
