Sentura vs. Model-T

I've been wodering for a while how much the Model T has in common with the older "S" (Sentura, Sceptre, Solarus, 100s, 1200s, etc.... ) tube amps. I know those early amps were based on dynaco stereo's and were almost identical under the hood. Did Sunn start over from scratch with the Model-T?

The Model T is almost an exact copy of a Marshall Super Lead preamp, with the addition of a pre-PI master volume.  The only thing it shares with the older amps is the 6550-based ultralinear power section.
