anybody use a Coliseum 300?
« on: March 28, 2006, 05:47:41 am »
A local shop has one that's been there for months and I'm debating making them an offer.  Does anybody here use one and have anything to say about it?  How do these things work for guitar?  Thanks.

You should make them an offer no matter what. If it does not workout, it's a safe bet someone here will buy it from you.

Right, I was kind of leaning that way already.  I was just curious how others have put them to use.

I have one. I used to use it before I started getting it worked on. I think it's a great-sounding amp, and they have a lot of features. If it's in good shape, buy it. Don't be afraid to play it loud in the store and ask lots of questions. They're two ohms, also, which is a pretty cool feature. I'd also download the manual on this site.
Coliseum 300's in good working order aren't something you see a lot of these days.
