Tall Sunn 4x12 cab with 8ohm speakers.....

I have just found a Sunn cab at a local pawn shop and plan on getting it for my guitar rig. The cab is tall, as I said, and the speakers are arranged in an 's' sort of formation. It has casters on the bottom and a handle on the side. It contains 8ohm sunn speakers. Does anyone know what model it could be and what kind of sound qualities these speakers/cab have?
Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a Sceptre cabinet, Sunn's first 4x12.

I'll bet that's it Isaac, 4 X 12" Alnico "Sunn Transducer" labeled speakers. Mine's very loud (imagine that, a LOUD Sunn!) for a 4X12 guitar cab.

Mine doesn't seem so loud, but I got it empty, and don't have the original drivers in there. Instead, I have two 128PA and two 128G drivers. Surprisingly,. it couldn't keep up with a 1000S with two 2x15 cabinets loaded with JBL D130s. Go figure.

Although the speakers are all 8ohm, I don't know enough about wiring to know which ohms socket to put it in in my amp. I assume it's 8 but would love some sort of confirmation so I don't mess things up. Great, I certainly hope it is loud. Any views on the frequency response of these? Are they Bass-y or Treble-y?

It's either 2 ohms, 8 ohms, or 32 ohms.
My money's on 8 ohms but it's your amp's health at stake, not mine!
Seriously though, if it's factory wired it almost has to be an 8 ohm cab. 2 ohms or 32 ohms wouldn't be very practical unless it was used in some kind of custom multi cabinet rig in its previous life.

I brought home the cab today. It imparts a much more 'fender-ish' sound to the cleans on my Orange RV50 and brings out the bass in the dirty channel. Plus it is way louder than my Orange 2x12 cab. I can't believe I found it for $125!
