I need one small little part, but can't find it in many electronic stores or online.  I am looking for a drive pot (1 meg log Sunn part # 23-1272) but it has some different leg configuration than anthing else I can find.  Its driving me crazy looking for this part and I've gotten no help from this site.  Someone please help![/b]

Many older amps have what I would consider "builder custom" parts that are no longer available.  These are parts that the builder had custom made for them at the time the amp was actively manufactured.  Try to find any replacement potentiometer for Fender's first solid state amp series.

The alternative is to adapt a readily available part.  Pots are relatively easy to adapt.

I've had to do this to several amps.  Just solder some wire extensions to the replacement pot's lugs and route them where they need to be attached into the circuit.  Even in those cases where the amp's knobs are used to attach a PCB to the control panel, there is usually more than enough support with remaining pots.
