I have a Sunn vertical 412 loaded with eminence legend v12s and I was wondering what I might be able to get for it on ebay?  The speakers are in the "S" formation.  I'm just wondering to see how much I might be able to get for it, I don't know if I'm going to sell it or not.

The only way to find out is to put it up. Put a $1000 reserve on it (I'm sure you would sell it for a grand if some idiot bid that high), and see how high it goes. You're only out the listing fee, and you then you KNOW....

I remember that someone listed one of those on the 'bay a while back, with a starting price of $500.  No one bid on it because shipping was predictably expensive on top of that price.  Coincidentally, where are you located?

Haven't done much recent eBaying, eh?  EBay really nails you with a fee if you set a reserve that is not met.  It's almost as much as the final value fee.

They did this for the exact reason you suggest.

I wasn't aware of that! Anything I've listed on eBay, I've sold on eBay. However, listing with a big reserve would give you the most accurate market value, even if it does cost you a few bucks.
