new output transformer for model T question......

does anyone know if any place makes a replacement output transformer that will work in a 76 model T?

to my knowledge there isn't one...you can always have the original one re-done at mercury magnetics.

You've got several problems - first, I don't know of any 120W-class OTs that have both a 2-ohm AND a 16-ohm tap.  Second, I can't think of ANY OT that big that Z-mounts.  Add the fact that you need ultralinear and I think something will have to give.  You'll either lose a tap, have to fab up something for upright mounting, or both.

admiral B,  is it possible to mod the amp to allow a completely different O.T. in it's place.   i really only want possibly a 4, 8 and 16 ohm tap.  or at the very least 8 and 18.   could a fender or marshall O.T. be substituted?  with the generous help from joearthur, i am still figuring out if in fact the O.T. is damaged.    to be continued....

Yes, but....you can't wire a Hammond up to a typical impedance selector switch.  Look at the wiring diagram - to get different taps, you have to parallel/series/strap leads together.  You'd need some kind of multipole rotary switch to do this.

I'm not saying it can't be done, just that it ain't a plug-and-play.
