Hello everyone. I just happened upon this site to look up information about my sunn amp, and couldn't beleive the amount of enthusiasts. I was (an am) selling my Sunn 200S amplifier. I was going to list the pertinent information on e-bay, but with this many members specifically concerning Sunn amplification, I figured I would just as well sell it here. Besides, everyone on this site seems to communicate and assist each other more frequently than other sites. I am asking for $225 dollars, and the buyer pays for shipping.
About the Amp;
SUNN 200S
All tube amplifier
No distinguishable serial number.
It is approximately 1969. The only date that was found was written in the amplifier chassis 3-15-69
60 watts
works perfectly.
4 or 8 ohm speaker outputs
Minor scratches on the tolex.
One of the Phase/driver tubes has been bypassed from the signal chain.
I've owned it for 13 years
I was given the amplifier so I really don't know too much of the history. When I took the chassis out, I did notice that there was a date and initials on the underside. I would imagine this was some kind of inspection marking. I will be posting pictures, and I will ensure that the tube circuitry and inspection marks are photographed. I have played it many times, when playing blues gigs, but really haven't used it at all for many years. I would guess that the first response will determine who will be the buyer of the amp. Thank you for your time,
mike
