2000s IMPEDANCE QUESTION
« on: August 08, 2006, 11:36:26 pm »
I have a 1969 2000S which has 2 speaker outputs labeled, 8 Ohm and 16 Ohm, is it possible to run a 4 ohm cabinet with THIS head the way it is?
The amp is stock and has not been modified, So, do i need to rewire the output jacks to use the 4 and 8 ohm taps instead of the 8 and 16 taps to safely use a 4 ohm Cabinet, or can i run the head the way it is with a 4 ohm cab? Thanks.

what noel meant to say was that we've covered this already, here's the link to the previous topic.  If you still have questions, resurrect the old one instead of starting brand new.
