2000s IMPEDANCE QUESTION

I have a 1969 2000S which has 2 speaker outputs labeled, 8 Ohm and 16 Ohm, is it possible to run a 4 ohm cabinet with THIS head the way it is?
The amp is stock and has not been modified, So, do i need to rewire the output jacks to use the 4 and 8 ohm taps instead of the 8 and 16 taps to safely use a 4 ohm Cabinet, or can i run the head the way it is with a 4 ohm cab? Thanks.

...Thanks for the Link - i Had Searched and not found that particular POST which is why i originally posted my query ...i appreciate the help guys.
