I just picked up an 880 and I have a few questions about the Sunn footswitch that came with it:
1) The Sustain control works independently of the footswitch, right?
2) Will the Distort control work without the footswitch (I see there's an on-off switch under the Distort knob)?
3) With an 880 the footswitch ONLY controls the Distort feature, right?
4) Must the on-off switch under the Distort knob be in the "on" position for the footswitch to operate the distort feature?
Sorry to sound like a rookie here, but after all my years of playing this is the first 880 I've gotten. Boy, an owner's manual would be nice....
