thanks guys!
believe you me, if i had a better jam spot, or a place to store more gear, id own more.
i initially scored a RI T about 2 years ago. i wanted a vintage, but they never popped up at a price i could afford. the RI ran me $600....
i sold it after about a month, as i didn't feel it was a better 2 channel amp than the jcm800 2210 i have come to know and love.
a day after i sold it, a character who had posted his vintage T for sale (for $1500) 2 months previous, had messaged me......as all his sales on the T had fallen through.
i told him i didn't have $1500, i had a fresh $600, and that was my offer. he bit.
as you can see, it is sitting in the collection
when i got down there to pick it up....there character looked like a cross between weird al, and frank zappa. i got up to his priced Lake Michigan Condo, and see a lovely T, w/ orig ge 6550's sitting on a massage therapist table.
he was in training to be a massage therapist, as well as an accupuncturist....and his wife was a fungshway(sp?) councilor.
groooovy to say the least.
he asked to see my hands.....and started rubbing them, telling me that my guitar playing is really damaging, and i should come in for some free accupuncture.
i got the hell outta there.
its hard to run swiftly, while holding a model t, and a guitar case
