i've got a model t reissue with the matching sunn 412 cab.  the rating on the cab is 16ohms but i'm noticing that's it doesn't seem to be as loud as other amps...and i have to crank it.  is it safe to switch the head to the 8ohm setting and run it into the 412?  should i get the cab rewired?  thanks....

I don't see how doing that would make it louder, either. If anything, less so.
