I purchased a PA in 1977 and it was stolen in 1982. Of the equipment stolen were 4 Sunn wedge monitors (12175, 11138, 09862 and 12121) and two 2480 mixing boards (02029 and 02033). I'm bringing this up now because I was going through some old memorabilia and found my P.A. information.
First, and foremost, I've already written this off. It has been 25+ years. I don't expect anyone to come forward.
Seriously, I have a good idea who stole it, but I could never prove it. It's not a coincidence that I haven't seen or talked to this person since 1982.
If you have any of this equipment, I don't expect you to turn it over; you probably paid good money for it. I am not out to prosecuting anyone. If you want to send an anonymous email to slkurasch at aol dot com and let me know who you purchased it from, I will follow it up from there.
Or, if anyone knows/knew if Sunn keeps/kept records of equipment to be fixed, that would help, too.
