« on: January 24, 2008, 02:08:13 am »
Just wondering if anyone uses or has used a 312S for bass.I have a oppurtunity to check one out which looks to be in good condition with original transducers. In my catalog from  it states that cabinet could be used for guitar or bass.So I am just curious

You must not be married long. My wife stopped falling for the "anniversary gift" trick about 20 years ago.  :-D

What amp are you using for the cabs?

I have been with my wife since 85' and married since 89'.In our living area/room I have a slew/wall of amps. From Ampeg,Eden.Euphonic Audio,Mesa Boogie & Sunn and my wife prefers it that they. She was highly disappointed in me when I sold my sons Roland elec. drum kit,but it was just sitting there and I decided I could use the money for new toys for myself.Hence the purchase of the cabinet & head. And yes the 312S does sound really good for bass,I was pleasantly surprised when I tested it prior to purchasing. As for the amp,it will be the 190B that I just got along with one of my 215S.
