sunn model t circuit breaker replacement
« on: March 08, 2008, 01:09:46 pm »
Hi, today I was playing my first gen model t and noticed that once again there was a crackling accompanying some notes while not others. On closer audio inspection I realised there was actually a constant crackling when the cab was vibrating. realising that once again my ol' faithful crackle was back, and after much expense trying to find out what it was, I discovered through a rule elimination that it was my circuit breaker that was causing it. Now you may ask how did I find out it was the circuit breaker? Well I just attached a bit of tape to it to stop it moving so much, and hey presto no crackling. Now does anyone know where you can find a replacement. I haven't looked inside the amp with regards to this so I am not sure what it is I should be replacing...other than it being the circuit breaker (of course before someone offers a quick retort), what I mean is, I am uncertain whether there is a dedicated internal component that can be replaced.
Anyway, i hope someone can reply to me on this matter.
Cheers, pete
