Sunn 215 RH bass cab (set)
« on: September 14, 2008, 11:47:25 pm »
Hey guys,

I just picked up a set of Sunn 215RH bass cabs. I don't know anything about them except that they pound! Here are a couple of questions I'm hoping to get answers for:

What does the RH in 215RH stand for?
When were these cabs made?

They are all black, with no screen and curved wood on the inside. They currently have Delta Eminence speakers.

I can't find ANY info on these - i would love any other details you may have.

Thanks for your time,
Spencer

Hello,
RH = Reflex Horn. The old nomenclature was the 118VH stood for "Vega Horn", the 18" C-V in the cube. the BH= bass horn. Good Hunting dood! And what are you going to light them up with?? I hope ya got an old Coliseum bass amp. I have a set of catalogs, 1969, 1972,73,74,75 plus a 1972 and 1973 price list. Currently have the following Sunn: Model T(1973 first gen), Concert bass, Coliseum bass, Coliseum, lead, 3 Sunn 215S cabinets all loaded with JBL K-140 15". Mostly play thru my acoustic 370 and 2 Acoustic 301(18" folded horn) cabinets lately.
Want to get another 1973 model T cause I can't find any 2000S's in decent condition.
Peace and Happiness to you. Sounds like ya got a great rig mister.
