Pricing question
« on: March 07, 2009, 09:53:10 pm »
Not that i am selling, but more out of curiousity....what can i expect to out out of my Model T reissue fullstack w/ Sunn covers for the head and cabs? All pieces are in perfect shape, i have the orig. manuals, footswitch, and even the orig. price tag for the head!
This is more for my curiousity but who knows, with the economy in shambles maybe someday i will have to sell it to eat! haha!

Hey Mate,

If you sold the stack as a single piece, I'd think you'd pull down around $1200 or so. The heads usually sell for around $700 used. Honestly, if you decide to sell, you'd probably be better off selling the pieces individually. I think you'd have a much easier time finding buyers that way, and you'd make a bit more money as well. Selling them individually, you could expect $700-$800 for the head and $300-$400 for each cab. Let's just hope the market doesn't keep tanking.

Oh....and I'd love to buy one of those cabs off ya. :)

When Fender first rolled out the new models, the head sold for $1300 and the 412 cabs sold for $700, though I don't think those prices held for very long due to a lack of sales. They're relatively affordable now.
