Concert bass speaker jack
« on: July 27, 2009, 07:53:24 pm »
Hi, my friend bought a Sunn concert bass and the previous owner removed one of the speaker jack. I'd like to know how to rewire it, so if anyone can post a pic or tell me how to do it I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

Edit: Also i'd like to know what is the type and rating of the circuit breaker because the one on it is broken.

Bought without hearing it work?

Remove the screws holding the chassis in the cabinet, slide the chassis out, remove the screws holding the plane on the chassis, there should be a couple wires hanging loose in the jack area. Put a jack in and wire them up white to tip, black to body. If there are more than a few wires loose inside, this won't get it working. Most folks recommend replace the power caps before using these older amps.

If it is too much and you don't want to bother getting it fixed, put a note in the FOR SALE section and there might be someone here who wants to fool around with it.
