I'm thinking of buying one and I'm wondering how many watts the output is and how to tell what year it was made in.  Also any comments from people who have played one would be appreciated.  Please email me.

Hi there,

I wasn't able to send mail to your email address so I'll just respond here
(and maybe help some other folks out)

I own one of these. Its loud as hell. 320W RMS/880W peak

I have some specs from the catalog as well:
(this reminds me that i need to put them up on the site too!)

Front panel:
2 inputs, brite switch
volume
lo bass (20-80hz)
hi bass (80-250hz)
mid (250hz-1khz)
trebel (1-10khz)
range switches on mid and treble
distort, sustain
distort on/off switch, power switch, polarity switch

Rear Panel:
Circuit breaker, 2 speaker jakcs
footswitch jack for distort/boost
pre amp out jack
power amp in jack

Power: 320 Watts RMS 880 Watts peak

hope this helps! I'll try to scan in this article on it as soon as i can

Thanks... That's the one.
Do you know what years these were made in?  Any clue as to how to tell how old mine is?

The only thing that gave me a clue as to when
it was manufactured was the sticker on the
transformer (which is most of the weight of the
head). ALl it said was "11/74".
My catalog is a 74 catalog as well, so they were
definitely made then, but I don't know what range of years they were manufactured.

You might want to look inside the chassis. There should be a sticker with the date or it is written in pencil. Hope this helps. L8r
