Hi there,I'd say the thing by the tranny is a fan motor minus the fan blades,another guess is the extra sw. is an on/off for the fan,can't say for sure,just a guess,Mel.

aside from the pictures, what is the condition of the amp? How does it sound? When is the last time it's been serviced?
