200s with 4 ohm speaker cabinet???

I have a 200s head that's been mothballed for over 10 years while I played the mandolin.  Having seen the light, I'm getting back into some electricity, and I'm wondering if I can use this amp with a speaker cabinet rated at 4 ohms.  The 200S has 2 output jacks labelled "8 ohm speaker" and "4 ohm external speaker," and I suppose the obvious answer is to use the "4 ohm external speaker" output with my 4 ohm cabinet.  Is the obvious the correct choice here?

i would assume thats the case but i myself have never had a 200S .

You can use the 4 ohm cab, but only plug it into the 4 ohm output of the amp.

The 200S, like many of the other early to mid 60's Sunn amps allowed the user to plug in 1 or 2  8 Ohm cabs.With two 8 ohm cabs plugged into the amp the total load was 4 ohms...the amps minimum resistance rating.  So again, just use the 4 ohm out and you should be OK.

As HRobert says, the 4 ohm "External Speaker" jack is the correct choice.
