Sunn 118BH for sale (SOLD)
« on: September 08, 2009, 10:29:37 am »
Still trying to make room in my basement and want to sell my 118BH from the late '70s.  It has the original Magna speaker, which sounds great, and the late-'70s style red sun on the nameplate.  It's just too big and bulky for my needs.  For sale to forum members at $175; all you have to do is pick it up in St. Louis.

External condition is good.  Some tolex wear as you'd expect for a 30-year-old item that has seen use. Has casters.

If you'd like additional photos, please email me and I'll send some along.

Alas! If you were only selling the 118V....

Seriously, I just got 2 118VHs or I'd be interested in your cabinet. I'll ask around among my bass player friends.

According to the catalog, it's 120 lbs. Dimensions are 26" wide, 32.5" tall and 26.5" deep (including casters).

If you make the packing and shipping arrangements, I'm happy to drop it off wherever you like.

Yep, they weight 120lbs. At least your version has handles (my earlier ones, alas, do not).

I dropped the price for forum members and revised the initial post accordingly.  Please take a look!

Have you sold unit as of yet?  Would you be interested in shipping via Greyhound by dropping off at bus station for shipping? I am interested in this ccabinet.

I am especially interested in the double reflex horn design (entwistle used two of these).  Don't know model, can anybody help with that?  Also, does anybody have couple for sale or plans and drawings for same?  I am willing to pay for dimensions and pictures if anybody can take some dimensions and internal pics of their cabinets and post.  My email is chris1d@westinghouse.com

FYI to anyone reading this thread, at Dean's suggestion I checked into Greyhound and their weight limit is 100 lbs - not enough for the 118BH cabinet so that turned out not to be an option.

Fortunately, however, a local buyer took it home with him this evening.
