Sunn Studio Lead...should I buy it?
« on: March 09, 2010, 10:59:51 am »
Good morning, Sunn forum denizens.

There's a Sunn Studio Lead for sale on my local craigslist.

What do you guys think? Is this something I should jump on? What's up with the "108G transducers?"

   If I was there,I'd buy it,but I'm a gear pig.Seems to be in great shape,except for the tear in the grill cloth.I like the variable Bright control.I believe it's a mid - late 70's piece,make a great little practice amp.As to the spkrs.,108 G,I think it means,10" spkr.,8 ohms,for Guitar.Good luck,Mel.

Yeah, those are definitely 10" speakers. The Studio Lead makes a great practice amp, and if I needed one ... I'd gladly buy it for $200.
