Cab for a Concert Bass head

I have been using My 73 concert bass with a David Eden xlt 410, and  fender jazz bass and it sounds amazing. the tone settings i have been using are

                  Bass -7.5
                  Treble- 5.5
                  Mid - 2.5 (jazz bass's have a lot of mid)
                  volume - around 3-4  

I have also been using a 72 fender bassman 100 2-15, with what ever speakers Traynor use to put in their 2150's model cabinet.
2-15 cabs  do sound awsome with the concert bass.

(i just got a concertbass head for helping my orchestra teacher move)

i heard that putting an 8 ohm cab on these heads was a bad idea. i have a 8ohm swr 1x15 cab.. would the concert bass head run well with that or should i get a new cab?

you should have no problam running a 8 ohm cab, thats what my eden is, just dont run a 2 ohm, or i think it will over heat and turn off..

As bradn104 said, running the amp at 8 ohms will be no problem at all. The only issue will be that the amp will only put out about 80 watts instead of 150 at 4 ohms. You probably will not notice any difference.
