Beta Lead Speaker Replacement
« on: April 23, 2010, 06:50:38 pm »
Hey yall, I'm going to bring up this topic again

I just bought a Beta Lead Combo with 4 10" drivers. Two of the speakers are busted and I'd like to replace them.

They have numbers on them in red

0116 16 480

Any idea what to replace em with? other than those numbers there is nothing.

I understand you're supposed to make sure all the speakers are the same in the cab.

You DO NOT have to make sure all the speakers are "the same" but what do need to do is make sure they have the same ohm rating. I'd also shoot for similar or close wattage ratings, not 100% necessary but if you go in with say a 75 watt speaker and the rest are 50 watt, you'll only get 50 watt out of the 75 watter. And yes everybody, I am really simplifying this :)

? I'm pretty new to all this.

What 10" speakers would yall recommend? 16 ohm 100 watt max.

I'd still like to know what was in there if anyone knows.
