Sunn repair shop lower 48

I'll broaden my area; does anyone know of a good repair shop any where in the lower 48 that works on late 70's Sunn amps. I have a Sunn concert lead that needs a new on/off switch and would like to find a shop that might have vintage spare parts so they could use the correct switch. As I stated in a previous post it also has some hissing & popping issues.

What version do you have - are the center caps of the knobs red? The switch is available from Mouser - you might search on this topic. Where are you located?

Yes the center cap of the knobs are red, I bought it new in 1978 or 1979; I'm in Richmond, VA. If I could find the switch I'm sure I could replace that but it also has some hissing & popping noises I'd like to get rid of and that's beyond my expertise so that's why I'd like to find a good repair shop

I just "restored" a 74' CL that came in literally in pieces. Someone dropped (more likley pulled it off its  perch) while it was operating. The little interstage transfomer was sheared off it's mounting tabs. :cry: I even had to replace the reverb tank not to mention building a new 3 sided cabinet out of sugar pine (sorry no original MDF was used). It's back on the road now.

Where do you live?  There's a great guy here in Milwaukee that's excellent with both tube and SS.

I'm a little late replying, but if you're in VA, I highly recommend Big Crunch amp repair in Baltimore. The owner, Brooks Harlan, has rehabbed several vintage Model T's for me, and he currently has my Sorado and Sonaro.

The guys in Clutch, Scott "Wino" Weinrich, and many other Sunn users trust him with their gear, and that's enough of an endorsement for me.
