2000s: need moral support

Contemplating pulling the trigger on a 2000s in good working condition for $750... and trying to see if scraping that money together is even possible.  Somebody convince me that this idea is either good or bad. 

Monsieur Lebeaux, your two 1x18s would be next on the hit list...

Great idea. I had a similar chance at one a few years back, but never got around to arranging a pick-up.  The dude sort of vanished, and that was the end of it!

go buy it....you will love the sound...then..look for a cab...they are hard to find but they pop up on e bay now and then...if you can get a good head for 750 without putting more money into it...that's below market value, if you will then what i have seen them go for on ebay....ok...time to brag...i own 2 2000's with cabs....along with a hand full of 200's with cabs...their better than cats and dogs..i'd say it's time to go shopping...i'am sure there are a few guys on this site that feel the same way...buy the amp and enjoy it.....smiles....

$ 750 is about what I paid for mine three or four years ago (e-bay purchase).  Great tone...wish it had more power.
