EBAY's probably your best bet, recent sales were $46 for one and $325 for 4.

There are 6 current listings this morning.  One thing to check with the seller is if you can return them if they aren't good, or ask the seller if they have a good mutual conductance tube tester and what the readings for the tubes were,  I've had several EBAY tube purchases where seller really only thought they were New In Box, but were really marginal tubes in a good box.  Luckily they made good on the sale.

Lord Valve is another good source.  He's at http://www.nebsnow.com/LordValve. His newlsetter is a real kick too!

I'm currently running svetlana 6550c's in my Sunn 1200s,decent tube.
Jim Mcshane got some NOS GE 6550a's for about $50 a pop.
Killer tube.
The EI kt-90s is also a good tube for that amp.
