I dunno if someone's gonna complain about this being
a commercial posting, but here goes:
We stock power transformers for 60W Sunns,
output transformers for 60W Sunns, and output
transformers for 120 W Sunns (like 2000S).

These are exact replacements for amps that
used Dynaco transformers, and are copied from the
original Dynaco factory diagrams. AFAIK, we are
the only distributor stocking these.No, they're not
cheap, but they're the real deal. Note that the
Dynaco output transformers were real hifi units,
the unit cost on winding these things in small lots is not
going to be cheap, no matter what we do, if they're going
to be accurate.
I do not know if these will replace Woodward Schumacher
(you can identify those as there will be a "606"
stamped in the metal on the end bell) transformers
found on some Sunns.
Does anyone know which models used the Schumacher
transformers and/or when Sunn switched from using
Dynaco to using Schumachers?
It'd be interesting to know why the Dynaco transformer
sets were selected in the first place, at the time they
would've been more expensive than Schumachers, Stancors,
et al.
