610s wiring help/conformation
« on: May 03, 2011, 12:51:39 pm »
Hey,  just picked up and empty 610s and loaded it with WGS 10" veteran's.  I don't have a multimeter handy so I was hoping someone could confirm i did my math correctly.

The speakers are all 8 ohms wired as followed:

two groups of 3 each in parallel, then those two groups wired in series to give me 5.33 ohm total.  I've attached a very crude paint drawing to show how I wired them.  Any feedback would be appreciated.  Thanks!

thank you!

on a side note, the grill cloth is black.  I know sunn had some later models with the black cloth, but I didnt think any of the early 70's models had any.  By looking at the thread and the back of the grill, it's very obvious that it's not just spray painted or re clothed.  interesting.  I know there was no specific pairing during this time period, but maybe this was to be paired with a model t as it appears it would match perfectly.
