first off, please forgive me if this is a total n00b question, but this seems to be the most informed place on Sunn amps, etc.

I recently acquired an early 70's silver face Concert Lead amp and am now scratching my head while pondering its hookup with my 4x12 8ohm cab. I've combed over the internet (including this board) and just haven't been able to find out if it's safe to use either output with my 8ohm cab. I imagine those more knowledgeable with impedances and whatnot would know though, which is why I'm asking here.

Is this safe, or will it potentially damage my cab or head?  Thank you and I appreciate forgiveness if this is a borderline idiotic question.

Yes, it's completely safe to use a Concert Lead with an 8 ohm speaker load.

Just don't go below 4 ohms and you will be fine.

The cab should be rated for at least 100 watts.
