vintage combo bass amp
« on: August 01, 2013, 09:04:21 pm »
About two years into learning and collecting electric guitars ,mostly for therapy and enjoyment, picked up a ibanez bass at a pawn shop ,then i found this sun combo bass amp ,sb200, collecting dust. it has a 15 inch speaker in it. Hopefully I didn't get taken.paid $150.00 for it. everything seems to work good. im not sure how old it is and its probley more than i need at this time but i can crank it up since there is plenty of space between the neighbors and my home.lol I thought!! with this bass amp, i dont have to worry about blowing the speaker in my blues jr guitar amp,plus i believe it should be tough enough to plug in one of the guitars and a distortion pedal or tube screemer, and safe space in the living room. Is anyone familiar with this amp? is it worth keeping? easy to get parts? ect...
Thank You,   John Z

sb200 = studio bass 200?
Didn't Fender build a studio bass 200?
Its a solid state design so parts shouldn't be an issue
