Model T for bass?

Hi.  Has anyone ever heard of people playing bass through a Model T?  Is this at all a common practice?  Thanks.

I doubt it's a common practice, but given the correct speakers, I would love to use a Model T for bass.

If you're talking about an old pre-Fender Model T w/6550s, yes, people use them for bass.  I gig with one for bass and guitar.  Timothy B. Schmidt (sp?) used one in the 70s for bass.

I used an old Model T for years. Loved it. In fact, I've never liked it quite as much as a guitar amp.

i have been playing bass through a (1973) model t  (w/o the switchable midrange switch) for years.these amps are far and away better then the newer ones.clean +punchey and built like a tank.
 just make sure you use good tubes like the GE or RCA 6550's. if you really want some bone shaken tone,go the big $ for some quality kt 88's.also, have the amp biased by a good tech. why pay mega $
for a hi- tech rig or a "vintage"amp when you can get a model t at a realistic price
point (usually $250-$400).you can get your tubes on the internet for another $150. then go show those SWR,trace elliot  (trace idiots ) and G/K users what a bass amp should sound like.
