sds labs cap board
« on: August 11, 2002, 10:44:00 am »
i just got one of these and was wondering if any one els has used them for recapping  there amps. it is 60x60x60x60@630v and i was wondering if the incerased values will effect/ increase the supply votages, will need to use larger resisters, those who have used them before, any pros or cons or tips. i've also noticed that in the schematics each side of the choke is hooked to the filter cap and when i look inside my 1200s or coliseum p.a. only the side that leads to the b+ is wired to the filter cap, the side with the lead coming from the stand by is not.
  thanks for looking
pat.

I've used them on two 2000s heads with good results. Amps are nice and quiet. Just follow the directions. You will need extra resistors that don't come with it. Also, make sure they sent you all the correct value parts!
