Power transformer availibility for a 1968 Sentura I ?
« on: October 02, 2017, 07:30:02 am »
If in the chance my power transformer is blown, is there a Mercury Magnetics, or other transformer supplier that has a substitute for this ?

I know that Sunn stuff is the ultra linear, so there may not be an exact replacement ?

Thanks !

Don't confuse the power transformer with the output transformer. Only the output transformer is ultralinear.

Triode electronics sells exact replacements, but before you assume the transformer is bad, fix your wiring as I mentioned in your other post. You've got it all wrong at the moment and it will blow fuses all day when wired like that.
