Is there a way to date Sunns by serial#? I
have a 200s head with SN/2558 and guessing
it to be about 1968. Any ideas?

I don't know about serial numbers, but you can get a pretty good indication around when it was built by looking at the date code usually stamped on the housing, around the area where the transformer part number would be stamped.

My 1975 Model-T has the date on the inside of the chassis, 5-13-1975. Can't remember if it was stamped or hand written as it's been a while since I was poking around in there. My serial # is 53913. Not sure how that works out, but the '5' could represent the year.
