problem w/ concert lead

my friend has a silver-faced concert lead and every time it powers up the breaker kicks.does anyone know what is causing this and if so is it fixable??  thanks, hof

Hello:
 If the breaker blows quick then more than likely you have either a power supply problem (bad rectifier, bad flter cap, bad transformer) or you have short faulted output transistors. It takes a pretty high current fault to blow a breaker quickly.
