Yo Guest. Getting folks to participate in a forum like this isn't always easy.
Most folks don't like to look stupid by putting something on the board that might come back to haunt them.........so they enjoy reading and "lurking" but leave most of the "posts" to those of us who don't mind looking like idiots more often than not.
One of my reasons for coming back was to do my part to try and get more conversations started "in general". I don't know a thing about tubes or solder or parts.........I'm a bass player who adores Sunn stuff and thinks that the Sunn Company made my world a better place to live.
I listen to the tales of the Sundholm Brothers, Buck, Jack Shelton and some of the early Sunn Team members.......and it makes me happy to try and keep those memories alive. I TRULY believe that WITHOUT the work that those guys did, Rock and Roll wouldn't be what it is today.
I also can't believe that the company that RULED te world of amplification the way that Sunn did, could have fallen off the face of the earth the way that it did. There's a lesson to be learned there..........and NOT just about gear.
