Sunn Fans;
I just wanted to pass along some parts sources I have found for Sunn amps.
As mentioned by others before, Mellotone (a division of Wendell Fabrics Corp.) carries the second-style (rectangular grid) Sunn grille cloth model SF7005. The 36" width cloth is $11.85/yard with a minimum 10 yard order.
Vibroworld carries the 2-screw corners for Sunn amp heads. They will also order the 3-screw corners for Sunn speaker cabinets if you ask them to (talk to Zack). The 3-screw corners are slightly different than the originals (the tab the screw fits through is a round shape rather than oblong), but the closest match I've found.
Sunn tolex can be purchased from Ampwares. All of these companies have websites to contact them/place orders.
I still have not found a source for the Rogan knobs Sunn used. They are very similar to Fender's black skirted knobs, but are numbered from 0-10 rather than Fender's 1-10. I searched Rogan's website, but could not find the knobs Sunn used.
Has anyone found a source for any of the different styles of Sunn handles? I'm still looking for a handle for my 1966 Smiley-Face Sunn head (the one with the top-mounted controls and the Dynaco Mark III power amp inside).
